1.     Village Vet

Known for their compassionate care, the Village Vet has been taking care of Baltimore’s pets and their people for “over 245 dog years” according to their website. It should be noted they have Saturday hours and online scheduling. A small office located in Mt Washington, VV is committed to providing comprehensive care.


2.   Belvedere Veterinary Center

One of the newer outfits in town, BVC has quickly become a respected veterinary office. They have three vets on staff and several more technicians available. Located near Belvedere Square, BVC has Saturday hours and a very informative website.


3.   MD SPCA Wellness Clinic

The MD SPCA Wellness Clinic is an offshoot of the MD SPCA located just up the road from the SPCA in Hampden. They offer a full range of preventative and wellness services for your pet. In addition, they offer appointments on Saturdays and Sundays. Here, the fees you pay for services help support the MD SPCA and their homeless pets.

EAH is one of Baltimore’s favorites because they offer emergency services anytime and have a very comprehensive range of services. They are a full service veterinary center with eight vets on staff, as well as several technicians. Their website is chock-full of information about caring for your pet and they have their own online shop.


5.     Charm City Veterinary Hospital

Located in the heart of Brewers Hill, CCVH is fairly new but already attracting a following of dedicated pet owners. Cognizant of their patients’ busy lives, they offer evening hours until 7:30PM on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as hours on Saturday mornings. This may be what sets them apart – a willingness to work with schedules – they even offer a virtual appointment so you can leave your pet at the vet and watch the appointment online to chat with the vet.

Fells Point’s go-to vet, DocSide is known for their deep compassion for their patients. With four vets on staff, the office is very knowledgeable and available. They offer a wide range of services and online scheduling for ease, as well as an online pharmacy.
