The guerilla companies began with a development company in 2007 called guerilla architecture founded by Joseph Rabinowitz. guerilla realty, offering real estate brokerage services, was launched in 2014 by Rachel Rabinowitz. guerilla construction, a design-build company, was added in 2019.
guerilla construction is known for renovations and large-scale additions on residential and commercial properties. guerilla construction specializes in mid-century modern and contemporary design. Projects have been completed in Baltimore’s Mount Washington, Stevenson, and Roland Park neighborhoods and beyond. Recent commercial projects include a refurbishment of a public high school in Silver Spring, Maryland and a transformation of a commercial building in Towson, Maryland.
guerilla realty is known for representing creative clients and cool properties throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan region. Agents Rachel Rabinowitz and David Tomasko have built a local following among those in-the-know. guerilla realty is Baltimore’s modern real estate company.
The Courtyard at 3400 Roland Ave in Hampden is guerilla’s first development project.
It’s an example of urban infill development. Each of the nine 2-story apartments were designed to be contextual among the Hampden row houses and post office building.
